By booking services with K4K9 Pet Sitting (“Provider,” “I,” or “Me”), you (“Client” or “Owner”) agree to the following Terms of Service. 
These terms are designed to ensure the safety, comfort, and well-being of your pets and the security of your home.

1. Services Provided

 

K4K9 Pet Sitting offers:

• Overnight pet sitting (in your home)

• Daily visits and check-ins

• Dog walks

• Occasional boarding (for regular clients)

 

Service area includes a 15-mile radius from ZIP code 89183, including the surrounding area of Henderson, NV.

2. Meet & Greets

A complimentary meet & greet is required before your first booking. This allows your pet to get comfortable with me. Review care, instructions. Confirm, access and go over Health or behavioral notes. Please have that information, emergency contacts and feeding instructions ready.

 

 

3. Booking and Payment Policy

 

• A 50% non-refundable, non-transferable deposit is required at the time of booking.

• The remaining balance is due on the final day of service.

• Accepted payment methods: Zelle, Venmo, Stripe, and Cash.

• Services are not confirmed until the deposit has been received.

4. Cancellation Policy

 

Cancellations may be made at any time. However, deposits are non-refundable and will not be credited toward future services, regardless of the reason for cancellation.

5. Bonding, Insurance, and Safety

 

K4K9 Pet Sitting is bonded and insured for your peace of mind.

I am also certified in pet CPR and basic first aid, ensuring your pets receive proper care in case of a minor emergency.

6. Veterinary Care and Emergencies

 

If your pet requires medical attention while in my care, I will make every effort to contact you immediately.

If you cannot be reached, you authorize K4K9 Pet Sitting to seek veterinary care from your preferred veterinarian or the nearest available animal hospital.

The Owner is responsible for all veterinary expenses incurred.

All decisions will be made in good faith for your pet’s safety and well-being.

7. Home Access and Key Handling

 

• The Owner agrees to provide safe and reliable access to the home and pets for scheduled services.

• Keys, keypads, garage codes, or other access methods will be handled securely and never shared.

• K4K9 Pet Sitting must be notified in advance if any other individuals (family, friends, contractors, etc.) will be present in the home during services.

• K4K9 Pet Sitting reserves the right to refuse or discontinue services if unexpected individuals are present or access becomes unsafe or uncertain.

8. Pet Behavior and Health

 

The Owner must disclose any known behavioral, health, or safety concerns (such as aggression, allergies, medications, or escape risks).

K4K9 Pet Sitting reserves the right to modify or discontinue services if a pet’s behavior poses a safety risk to itself, others, or the sitter.

9. Social Media and Photos

 

Photos of pets may be shared on K4K9 Pet Sitting’s social media pages.

Personal identifiers (such as addresses, human faces, or exact locations) will never be shown.

If you prefer your pet not be photographed or posted, please let me know in advance — I will always respect your preference.

10. Liability

 

While every effort is made to ensure the safety and well-being of pets and property, K4K9 Pet Sitting cannot be held liable for:

• Illness, injury, loss, or death due to pre-existing conditions or unforeseen circumstances;

• Property damage or theft not directly caused by negligence;

• Injury or loss resulting from another person’s access to your home during scheduled services.

11. Weather and Safety

 

In cases of extreme weather or unsafe conditions (e.g., excessive heat, storms, or hazardous air quality), walks may be adjusted for the safety of your pets.

Services will be modified as needed but not canceled unless absolutely necessary.

12. Holiday & Peak Times

 

Holiday and peak-time bookings fill up quickly. A holiday surcharge may be applied for services on major holidays (such as Thanksgiving, Christmas, or New Year’s). Deposits and cancellation policies remain effect during these times.

13. Agreement

 

By booking services with K4K9 Pet Sitting, the Client acknowledges that they have read, understood, and agree to all terms stated above. Your booking serves as confirmation of this agreement.
